30 things in 30 days...

The latest challenge on Chavah Kinloch’s Blog (which is well worth the read) is her 31 things in 31 days..
When she posted her list initially, I thought hmm good idea, instead of looking at an ever-growing list of to-do's it breaks it down. Then I forgot about it... I 've just received her update and although she completed only half of her list – read the update here, she has really inspired me to set some goals for myself.

As it’s the last day of May today, the 1st of June will be the perfect day to start.. Here are 30 things I’ve set myself to do.
OK here we go...
  1. Make some oaty muesli bars
  2. File my GST return (thanks for the reminder CK)
  3. Load the new products arrived onto www.pregoli.co.nz
  4. Send my passport application away
  5. See the Sex and the City 2 Movie
  6. Plan a girls night out
  7. A Stocktake.. you can help me with this by shopping now! (less I need to count).
  8. Bake a delicious cake for Oli’s Birthday
  9. Read a book (the Gruffalo doesn't count)!
  10. Turn over the Vegie garden – brrrrr!
  11. Arrive at swimming lessons on time every week in June
  12. Take the family to beautiful Blenheim
  13. Add the “top-secret” new section to the Pregoli site
  14. Take the video footage of our camera (its well over a year old)…
  15. Print some photos of Toby (6 months tomorrow)!
  16. Plan our July Product Evening - if you are in Christchurch and would like to know more, click here
  17. Try at least 4 new recipes
  18. Find a new product for Pregoli
  19. Have a movie night with popcorn (and turn my laptop off)!
  20. Clean my car (second least likely to happen after vegie garden)
  21. Hang the photo frame which has been waiting since Feb 07
  22. Give myself a Pedicure
  23. And a Facial
  24. Bake Cupcakes for my nieces Birthday
  25. Plan an awesome party for Oli who’s 2 in June (where has that time gone)?
  26. Tidy up the many many icons on my desktop
  27. Fix the airport express so I can play music wirelessly
  28. Put batteries in the clock in the bedroom (been on the to-do list for around 7 months)
  29. Go out for lunch, dinner and breakfast, not all in the same day (!) but at least one with just my husband
  30. Take Toby for his first swim

  1. This is a great list!! I love that it covers so many areas of life. Time for yourself, things to do for business, things around the home and of course family time. Good luck!

  2. Thanks Chavah, thanks for the motivation to get off my butt & do it :) One task done today so right on schedule.. although baking won't help the weight loss (will save that for next month)!
